Hi there everyone, this week I made friendship soup to share with my friends Harper said it’s like marshmallows, Olivia said it tastes like something warm,  Miriam said it tasted perfect like love.

You know what I think I can give you the recipe if you don’t show anyone else. But first you need to know  the side effects you become the best friend anyone could have Ok here we go!

Ingredients

10 Cups of Support

8 Cups of Love

1 tsp of Compatibility

8 Cups of Kindness

½ Cups of Gentleness

200 Cups of having fun

2 Cups of Joy

¼ tsp Safety

5 Cups of loyalness

55 Grams of Trust

(A sprinkle of Everlasting bond or a ¼ Tsp of sweetness)Optional

Step 1: To make

Heat the Compatibility  in a large pan, then tip in the love and joy. Cook over a moderate heat until the love has softened, about 5 mins. Stir in the trust and loyalness, then pour in the chopped safety  and support , and bring up to the boil. Turn the heat down and leave to simmer for about 15 mins until thick and full of flavour. If you like a smooth soup, whizz the mixture at this point to form a smooth sauce.Make sure to wait 30 minutes before doing step 2. Can now be cooled and frozen for up to 1 month.

Step 2:To serve

To serve add in the rest of the ingredients that’s the kindness, gentleness, and having fun mix with a beater and then add your sprinkle of everlasting bond and sweetness.

My Experience At Athletics Day

Hi there People,

You’re probably wondering what I will be sharing with you today A Yeti?, A comet?, A Teddy Bear?, No actually today will be all about athletics… YES THIS CRUEL THING MADE TO TIRE OUT KIDS! (dun dun dun) whoops my fingers slipped I mean this fun thing that we do every year. Now lets start with some questions???????

  1. What is Athletics?  Well it’s basically a sports day with a bunch of events but we will get into that a bit more later.
  2. Where were Athletics? Well this year our Athletics was held at Rawhiti Domain.
  3. When was it? So it was Tuesday so the date would be Tuesday 25th October.
  4. Who was there? In our school every student attends unless of injury So Year 1-8.

Now my age group year 5 girls started at High jump and man you should have seen the top girls jump, I didn’t even make it over the first one. But the results were: 1st Alexis, 2nd Charlie-Mae, 3rd Lucy and runner up was Claire.

The second event was Discus and I thought I did pretty well but sadly I did not place but the people who did place were 1st Charlie-Mae, 2nd Lucy, 3rd Alexis.

The third event was Long jump and sadly they didn’t say the places of this event and I can’t remember the 4th event shot put.

The running races were tricky and got me puffing I came 5th to last and didn’t figure out who won but I think it was between Kayla, Charlie-Mae and Alexis.

Do you like athletics or dislike it like me?

Thank you all  for listening! Bye.

Athletics at work!!

My heart, pounding in my chest will make it? The finale stretch to the end.

Hi im Ava and I am here today to talk about my thrilling Thursday. With athletics on its way our teachers sort to make us practice although they made it fun it was still tough. As you know i am clearly being a bit dramatic cause thats how i am but  anyway i should probably get back to our topic. We started athletics on Wednesday and carried it on to Thursday.  We were split four ways year 6 boys year 6 girls year 5 boys and year 5 girls i was in year five girls and we started at multi sport It was super fun because we had alot of fast sporty kids. Then after thirty minutes (i think) we strutted to shoot-put Charlie-Mae (Aka one of my besties)  Shot the furthest it went so far even Miss Gill was impressed. The next day we were headed to Discuss and as usual  Charlie-Mae made hers go about 50 feet. Next came running my least favourite part oh boy. Sprint was fun because the teacher we had for it let me do fun things like a crawling race and surprisingly i came 1st. Next came the thing i was dreading i was already super tired from sprint but we got to have partners and each of us ran three times I was with Mila and she was great. She ran faster than wind well kinda. After all this my feet hurt like crazy  and i was so lucky it had come to an end.

My Reading creates wk6

Hello everyone and welcome back Let’s dive straight into my reading fact file about Super-Novas.

Fun facts:

  1. A supernova is a powerful stellar explosion that occurs during the late evolutionary stages of a star.
  2. The word supernova was coined in 1931 by Fritz Zwicky and Walter Baade.
  3. Supernova can eject matter from its centre at speeds up to 25,000 miles per hour.
  4. A supernova shock wave can trigger the formation of new stars.
  5.  Astronomers estimate there are 100 billion galaxies in the known universe, that means somewhere in our universe a star goes supernova every five to ten seconds.

Now lets look at my create.

Netball at Hagley Park/ Winter Sport Fun

Hi there everyone its Ava again,

And guess what I’ll be sharing with you today,  MY NETBALL GAME!  On Thursday the 25th me and my netball team headed to our bus. Off we went laughing and chattering away. We were all pumped about the up coming game and all eagerly hopped out off the bus. It was a bit off a long walk to Hagley Courts but we managed. This week Harper K was the captain,  shes one of my friends. Here she is:

For the first quarter I was a sub then I was defence, sub and attack. My favourite position is attack  because I scored one out of two goals. Our final score was 6/2 Rowley scored 6 and we scored 2 even though we lost we still had a blast.

My netball team

My netball team is called the Hornets, hornets are a type of wasp cool right and they look like this!

We are the c team and in the team there is Me, Lucy .F, Monica, Harper.K, Lexi, Nia, Ava.W, Ainsley, Bella, and Kiriana.

Do you do winter sport?

CSO orchestra visit!

Hi everyone welcome back this week It was awesome the best thing happened Anna, Publo, John, and a lot more people came they are part of an orchestra. They came because the teachers said we might never get to experience it ever again.

The instrument that I liked the most was the Villon and the trombone because the Villon sounded beautiful it was deep and lovely and the trombone was funny and it played lots of cool sounds also some important ones.

The thing that surprised me the most was that the stick a Villon uses is made out of horse hair and wood it is also called a bow originally called that because in early terms they were made quite curvy like a bow and arrow.

Something that I found interesting was how the play a flute because all you have to do is blow and peruse your lips and without the special parts it would sound like a fake fart.

Thank you for reading this weeks post.

What’s your favourite instrument?
