Over the past couple weeks we’ve been learning and working around the digestive system. Mrs Carney first read us a book called “Gut Garden” The Gut Garden is heaps of microbes and most of the population is located in the large intestine. The book was about all the different paths and tracks your food takes.
Over the cause of a couple days we’d finished the book everyone had learnt a bunch of facts like.
- When the small intestine is rolled out it can measure a whooping 10 meters.
- It takes 36 hours for food to travel through the large intestine.
While this we were challenged to use different language features such as Similes, and we also had to Make subheadings for every paragraph.
